Car Bomb explodes in Northern Ireland

On Tuesday evening, a bomb planted in a car exploded outside a shopping center in the Northern Irish city of Londonderry, causing a fair amount of damage but no injuries.
"Shortly after midnight a device in a Corsa car exploded outside a bank at the rear of the Da Vinci retail complex" said a spokesman from the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
"A warning had been received just an hour earlier and a cordon was in place".
The surrounding area, inclusive of dozens of houses and businesses, had been evacuated prior to the incident.
